Assisting pregnant mothers for 50 plus consecutive years and connecting them with other medical clinics to continue their pregnancy care is one of our many services at Sacramento Life Center/Sac Valley Women’s Health .
We layer expectant patients with many community resources and the education they need through the BrightCourse parenting classes program (our on-line streaming educational and parenting videos) that almost guarantee an empowering experience. The classes are for moms, dads, siblings and are presented in both English and Spanish.
Whether this is your first or fifth pregnancy, we encourage moms to be kind to themself, to feel good about their pregnancies, take extra naps, and seek our help to navigate the next 9 months.
Many organizations through the Sacramento region and across the country share our passion for assisting women with unplanned or unsupported pregnancies. We can assist in connecting with our community partners
Advantages to seeing us are that we can provide free medical grade pregnancy testing and sonograms to determine the gestational age (how far along you are). We can assist you with a referral to Ob/GYN care and we can even help with Presumptive Eligibility for Medi-Cal.
A wonderful recent example of one of our pregnant moms needing extra support is a patient who had triplets. The news of a triplet pregnant was a huge shock. The changes in their lives will be MANY, but thanks to all of our staff and donors we are able to help this family meet those challenges, and hopefully Sacramento Life Center/Sac Valley Women’s Health will be able to help many more families to come.
